“I could not ask for a better duo. Vocally brilliant!”
~ Nkechi Anele, Triple J Radio

Celine Yap and Brendan Bonsack stir memories of folk music of the 1960s, with their sweet harmonies, and a drive for social justice in every song.

100% of sales of these recordings will be given to Vets for Compassion, a boots-on-the-ground organization that provides highly trained veterinarians in natural disasters to help affected wildlife, farm and companion animals.

Described by Australian folk legend Judy Small as “a young Malvina Reynolds”, Celine Yap is a folk singer/songwriter known for tackling political issues such as refugee rights, the environment, and social justice issues in the Philippines, her home country. Prolific Melbourne poet and songwriter, Brendan Bonsack, recently joined Celine to produce two records, their latest release being The Gravestone Carvers.

“Entirely original with stunning poetic songwriting from Celine (with ripples of Simon & Garfunkel, Melanie Safka, Leonard Cohen, Luluc). Songs of social justice that heal.”
~ Ruth Hazleton
